Weekly Awards

In year two of Lounge Ballin’ we will hand out two awards per week. The first of these is the SwoleKonnor Award. This award is presented to the week’s strongest team as voted on by you, the reader. This week’s nominees are:

• The Fairport Phishermen for putting up the top score in the league by a LONGSHOT and performing 39.3 points above projected (Nominated by ESPN Analytics)

• The Better Business Bussies. Their acquisition of the Boise Bussies comes at a time of turbulence and uncertainty for the team. The new owner, an unnamed entity, believes that with a PF higher than multiple teams, yet the HIGHEST PA of all teams in the league, the Boise Bussies are destined for greatness. Facing the single toughest schedule in the league, the Better Business Bureau has the most grit of any team in the league. It’s only up from here with them. (Nominated by week 7 SwoleKonnor winner, the Boise Bussies)

• The HF GNUs for winning their 3rd game in a row. They have now improved from 1-4 to 4-4. Anything is possible. (Nominated by Commissioner Tim)

The SwoleKonnor Award for Week 8 was awarded to both the Fairport Phishermen and the HF GNUs as the vote ended in a tie!

The Wide Konnor Award is presented to the week’s worst performer or for the most embarrassing blunder. This week’s nominees are:

• gli ladri di culo for scoring 38.7 points below projected and practically giving up on the season (Nominated by ESPN Analytics)

• The Covington Catgirls for having a score that is trash, majority of players put up some pretty disappointing numbers (nominated by week 7 Wide Konnor recipient The Herd)

• The LA VertiBoys for losing to a team that didn’t even start a QB (Nominated by Commissioner Tim)

The Wide Konnor Award for Week 8 was awarded to the Covington Catgirls!
