Week 4 Recap
This week’s recap comes in the form of an acrostic poem. Tim was out of town.
Week 4:
L-et’s get started on the Week 4 recap!
O-MG Team MeekDADDY and the Trennins Qwerty are you kidding me with those scores!!
U-ndeniable that one will surely win the league
N-o one is talking about the fact that the Fairport Phishermen are still undefeated
G-NUs finally got their first win and they put up a darn good score in the process
E-xciting launch of loungeballin.org took place this week. Congrats to all involved!
B-ig win for the Chungus Champions as they obliterate their arch rival, The Herd
A- trade was vetoed between the Skyline Chili Three-ways and the LA VertiBoys
L-A VertiBoys are bo longer undefeated 😦
L-MAO the Clifton Crackpipes almost won with two players out. They are no longer undefeated 😦
I- think the kokmagics might be legit. They picked up another win this week.
N-ext week should have more thrills as we head into our first round of players on bye.
Weekly Awards
In year two of Lounge Ballin’ we will hand out two awards per week. The first of these is the SwoleKonnor Award.
This award is presented to the week’s strongest team as voted on by you, the reader. This week’s nominees are:
-
Team MeekDADDY for scoring an all time record 171.14 points behind top performer Christian McCaffrey and an outstanding week for the Cowboys defense
-
The Trennins Qwerty for another dominating performance of 170.8 points, who would have set the all time record if if weren’t for those pesky daddies.
-
The Fairport Phishermen who continue to steamroll to 4-0 and are one of two remaining undefeated squads.
The SwoleKonnor Award for Week 4 was awarded to Team MeekDADDY!
The Wide Konnor Award is presented to the weeks worst performer or for the most embarrassing blunder. This week’s nominees are:
-
The Hamilton Heroin Heroes who scored the least points with 37.46. Multiple individual players put up scores higher than this whole team including CMC and AJ Brown. They show no signs from the front office that anything will be changed beyond their waiver pickup of Saquon Barkley.
-
The Covington Catgirls who fall to 2-2 following a crushing defeat by a record-smashing Team MeekDADDY. Their score wasn’t the worst, but comparisons to the Dolphins near-record breaking defeat of the Broncos have been made on Twitter discussions of Lounge Ball.
-
gli ladri di culo who made the unexplainable move to drop Saquon Barkley to waivers, removing their arguable star. Can Pat Mahomes and James Conner pick up where Saquon once stood to try and keep this team in the running?
